<p>My roommate also had an 8 AM class Freshman year. It wasn’t a bother to me when she got up. Now, my second year my new roommate also had an early class but she’d always whisper with her boyfriend. He slept over almost every day and I didn’t mind, but it bugged when that they whispered in the morning or she’d call him. Even though it was softly, it was annoying. =/ So I suggest trying to make as little noise as possible and getting out as quickly as possible. It’ll make it easier for your roommate to go back to sleep.</p>

<p>Part of being a roommate is learning to coexist with different schedules (bed times and wake up times particularly). Like Nickel said, it’s important to be considerate of each other. Don’t make crazy noise or anything, you’ll be fine. I stopped waking up when my roomie’s alarm went off by the middle of each semester.</p>

<p>Yeah, get a rack raiser! Gives you lots more space, however don’t bother with the ones from BU. Idk why the $%@& u need a bed that high in the air >_>… buy cheap ones at BB&B should only cost you 10-15 dollars!</p>

<p>And yeah the crazy schedule is something you get used to. My room mate had an alarm that he would put on to wake him up for his 9 AM class. However he would sleep past it and I would come back to the room with the alarm ringing at 2 in the afternoon -_-. And also he would sleep at 3-4 in the morning… so I’d always be used to noise in the room. Something you need to get used to in Warren is the the loud noise. It won’t be around all the time, however it will be there whether you like it or not. So learn to ignore it or avoid it by studying in other locations and what not.</p>

<p>And yeah try not to do Floorcest unless you know it’s going to work. Oh boy my floor was filled with so much floorcest… about 5 couples -_-… wooo that drama was not fun.</p>

<p>Well no you don’t, buy ones hmm about 12 inches or so I think. I forgot how tall mine were but I remember I atleast had 12 inches of space underneath my bed!</p>

<p>How many plugs for devices are there in a double (fairfield warren towers)? Would you recommend buying a surge protector? Also, are laptop locks necessary in dorms?</p>

<p>If I remember correctly, each roommate gets 4 in their desk area and one outlet in the light above the dresser (for hairdryers etc). If you have a printer, TV, microfridge, desk lamp and so on then you’ll definitely need a surge protector/cord extension thingy.</p>

<p>I’ve never really heard about anyone having a laptop lock so I’m gonna say no. I never felt like I needed one. Just make sure both you and your roommate lock the room when you go out.</p>
