Question about Writing score

Hi everyone, I have a question about Writing score ...
I read on Kaplan Writing workbook that they convert from "total raw score" (max 49) to the 800p scale score. 49 -> 800, 39->700 ...
But the "total raw score" equals "essay raw score" + "multiple-choice raw score" ...
where "essay raw score" = "essay score" (one reader) multiplied by about 3.17 ....

It means that if I get 40 raw score on Multiple-choice and only 3 on essay (one reader) or 6 (2 readers), my raw score will be >49 and I will get 800. It's quite nonsense. 800 with only 3 on essay ???

Is that true ? I only aim for 700 Writing, how can I get this? I'm bad at essay (essays I posted here was scored 3/6 :( ), but I can improve my MultipleChoice. Is there any chance ?

no answer ?

I dont get what you're saying, but on my writing section I had a sub score of 63, an essay of 9 and a 650 over all.

I don't understand the Kaplan book, too!!!

what does your subscore 63 mean ? How is subscore calculated ?
There are only 49 multiple-choice questions.

If I get 65 subscore (41 Correct, 8 Wrong, 0 Omitted), then is there any chance for me to get 700 Writing ???
