The prerequisites ask for econ 1110-1120 and calculus. I want to take intermediate microeconomics my second semester of freshmen year and currently I am enrolled in intro to microecon. In my second semester, is it possible for me to be enrolled in both intermediate microecon and intro to macroecon or do I need to have successfully completed intro to macroecon before being able to take intermediate microecon?

Also, in my first semester here, I am taking stats because I had already taken two years of calculus in high school (and I got a 5 on the AB test and a 4 on the BC test). As a result, will my 4 on the BC test cover the requirement of calculus for the intermediate microecon class?

Thanks.

Yes and yes.

How are you enjoying life at Cornell, splinty? Do you think you made the right decision?

Thanks. Yea I love Cornell! It is awesome, despite the rain. :( How are things with you?
Any classes you recommend me to take?

Btw, do u know if my taking of stats (Math 1710) will interfere with me possibly taking econ stats? (I already asked ILR dept if I could take Math 1710 instead of the ILR Statistics and they said yea.)

If you are serious about taking econ stats, ask the ILR department if they would accept econ 319-320 instead of 212.

No need to take Math 170. I actually think that ILR 212 is a better class than 171.

Even better take Math 471-472. And if you are in-state and worried about endowed credits, you can take biometry 408-409.

We're going to have a picture perfect Upstate New York weekend, so I hope you enjoy it!
