<p>So I'm still on step 3 and I applied to the college of business and liberal arts for my majors...does this mean if I don't get accepeted in those schools I don't get accepted into the university itself?

<p>Hi, when we attended the freshmen admissions sessions, we were told that admissions are into the university in general. Majors are not expected to be declared until perhaps sophmore year some time? Architecture and engineering have stricter requirements, but that’s not a worry for you. TAMU’s policy is in stark contrast to the way UT Austin does their admissions into specific schools (Business, Lib Arts, Gen Studies, etc).</p>
