<p>I'd like to know what a transfer's transcript (2nd school) will look like. Will it list courses* from first school on the transcript? Would the second college's transcript list discipline from first school? When applying for graduate school, do you need both transcripts or just the second one?</p>

<p>2nd School’s Transcript won’t include grades from the 1st one unless they are both in the same district (e.g. UC-UC transfer, CSU-CSU transfer) </p>
<p>Graduate school requires both. </p>
<p>At my cc, no grades from my first stint at cmu were included in the transcript, and in fact only listed those courses for which I received transfer credit (with CR instead of a grade). </p>
<p>On my umd transcript, anything and everything is on there, all courses, their grades, from every school (even a summer course I took at pitt once). However in both cases, the “cumulative gpa” listed at the bottom was only based on the institutional grades earned. So even with C’s, D’s, andF’s up and down the first page of my transcript, umd lists me as having a 4.0 :-)</p>
