Question for Current Brown students/newly accepted Brown students

Pretty simple: any advice on getting in? I just went to visit Brown a few days ago, and it’s definitely one of my top choices. But what kind of specific accomplishments do you have that you think helped in the admissions process (academic, sports, whatever) and led to acceptance? I know there’s no ideal Brown student, but any guidance would be really helpful!

-Thanks!!

I know you're just curious so I think it'd be more helpful to search old chances threads. There is a lot of information available there. But search yourself, what have you done so far that's been important to you. It doesn't have to be some huge national recognition, just something you're passionate about. Any guidance that a current/recently accepted Brown student could give you would be purely anecdotal. You can't pick up something now that sounds like a really good or innovative idea and make it meaningful. Make what you already do meaningful.

I am a football, basketball and baseball player who tap dances and likes to write. I also have an incredible thrist for knowledge. I think all of those things made me stand out to Brown.

Have exactly 2 Pi extracurriculars. No more, no less.

Actually, Adam, I got in with exactly 1 pi squared extracurriculars.

Find a few things you are most passionate about and pursue them as deeply as possible
