Question for people that know about CSU system.

I have been accepted as a transfer student to CSUN and CSUCI. I have decided on eventually getting my degree at CSUCI since they offer the Environmental Science Degree there. I currently live a few blocks away from CSUN but they do not offer the Env Sci degree. So my question is could i work on lower div and university electives at CSUN for a few semesters then eventually transferring those courses to CSUCI? The courses would be Chem and Bio. Some people tell me yes and no...need help since im trying to complete most of my schooling at the closest schools so i could save the most money then transferring to CSUCI with only upper div's courses only.

I currently have 61 units at CC

Thanks all first post!

these questions should be asked to the college where you want to transfer to. google could also be your friend.

not to go that route. Once you accept the admittance of one csu it gets harder to transfer from csu to csu mostly due to funding and recent budget cuts. CSUCI has a great Environmental Science program and focuses on sustainability for the whole campus. Currently it is ranked #4 in the nation of sustainable campuses and the students here are always researching newer more efficient ways to decrease our carbon footprint. The best of luck in all your future endeavors! Go Dolphins!

If you are a transfer student, haven’t you already completed the lower division work necessary to transfer to CSUCI?
