Question for UCI tag for a computer science major

Hello everyone!

I was looking at the TAG requirements for UCI, and I think I meet all of them. I just have one question.

One of the requirements is that I am supposed to complete 2 courses before summer from the pre reqs.

The pre reqs are 1 year of calculus and 1 year of computer science courses.

I have taken a year of computer science courses, however they are not the exact equivalent as they are on assist. My question is, does this mean they do not count as the courses I can use for TAG?

I will be able to complete all the minimum requirements by Spring, however the requisite is to have them completed this past summer.

To sum it all up this is what I am trying to say:
I have taken:
CS 102: Introduction to Software and Hardware
CS 103: Introduction to Programming Logic
CS 180: Programming in C/C++
CS 182: Programing in Java

I will take by spring
CS 280 Object Oriented C++
CS 292 Data Structures

I spoke with a counselor and she told me to just submit my tag and see what happens, however I do not want to waste it. Please help and thank you for reading!

and also here is the link to the ASSIST:
ASSIST Report: CERRITOS 12-13 UCI Articulation Agreement by Major

It takes 15 minutes to fill out TAG and once approved you are guaranteed. So unless you plan to TAG somewhere else, you are not really “wasting” anything by filing the application (it’s free).
