Question for upperclassmen

How long before pass 1 opens up on Gold do actual class listings with dates, times, and professors appear on the curriculum search for the fall, winter and spring quarters?

You can check the registrar’s website for dates for every quarter:
[url=<a href=“http://www.registrar.ucsb.edu/passinfo.htm]UCSB”>404 - Page Not Found]UCSB Registrar: Registration and Pass Time Information/url

I think the “appointments available on GOLD” line just means that’s when the class schedule is put up there - in other words, the classes go up about one to two weeks before the first pass time, which sounds about right to me.

AFAIK, class dates and times are up when the first students can sign up for class (honors program students). Professors are usually up as well, but if they’re not, it may mean you have a grad student teaching the course.

The classes are listed about half way through the current quarter. You won’t see the courses for winter until mid fall; same for spring with winter.
