QUESTION! How about 3.99GPA if I am ready to transfer to UCLA, UCSD or SB?

Really, I am worried about the gpa. I study in a community college now so does is it possible for me to transfer to UCLA or UCSD OR SB?
thx!

I don’t think so.

Have you completed 60 transferable units?

Are you in high school?

No… I just study in cc now and I have 60 transferable units.I graduated from high school.

Yes, I have and I study at CC in WA.

Can you afford the OOS tuition?
There is no funding for non-residents at the California public schools.
$62K per year.

Bro…what are you really worried about. It’s a 3.99. I mean, come on.

@“aunt bea” why do you go around copy and pasting that? The OP didn’t even say anything about being OOS…

@ericbadmon, read above in post number 4.

I post that because it is a very pertinent question. Why don’t you think it’s important that you be able to pay your bill?

I’ve been through the drama, in March and April, when the students receive their acceptances and are floored by the fact that the financial aid offer is not what they expected. Namely, that there is none, and that the students need to use the Bank of Mom and Dad.

We had lines, outside of our HS counseling office, of students-with their parents in tow, wondering how they would pay for their OOS fees. Each year, we ALWAYS had students who didn’t listen to the GC’s and hadn’t applied to any safeties. Their parents, naively assumed that they would get good financial aid. Most families didn’t have savings or couldn’t afford the schools.

If you are working your bum off to get admitted to these schools, and you get in, how do you pay if you don’t have the money to attend?
