question on studying

i didnt do so well on the May SAT (1900) and I plan to study a good amount over the summer for the october SAT.

My distributions were

570 CR
670 Math
660 Writing

Now there isnt too much time...about 5 months between now and then so I am looking for some advice on what I should concentrate on.

Should I try and bring my Math and Writing scores up? This would involve focusing on my strengths and I'm pretty sure I can get both up to the 700s with a few months of studying. Of course this means I leave CR in the dust.

Basically, the issue is whether or not its better to go for an even distribution and study so my CR goes up to 650ish or should I try to ace the Math and Writing sections?

THANKS!

I'd say focus on CR first since it takes progressive steps to develop good reading comprehension and maybe learning new vocabs. Math and Writing basically just contain concepts that can be learned in a shorter amount of time. Also, keep in mind that while you may pick up new things, 5 months is a long time. By that time you may have forgotten some of the mathematics or grammatical concepts you'd learned.
