Question on submitting research papers

Quick question - I was a co-author of a research paper for my internship this summer. I didn't write the entire paper, nor did I write a majority of the paper. My contribution was writing a small portion of the paper (very small), editing it a lot for grammar and such, and doing a substantial chunk of the actual research - I programmed the entire simulation. Should I still send this? Is there an appropriate place to note my contributions to the paper? Should I not note them at all?

As long as the paper lists all the authors I would go ahead and submit it. If all the authors are listed you are not claiming to have written the entire paper, so its fine. You could also clarify your contributions in additional information or in the e-mail you send the paper with.
