<p>I don't think that much, unless it's a parent/sibling? I could be wrong.</p>
<p>I heard it's not much, unless if it's a parent who attended the same school and level as you are applying to. (For example, my parents went to graduate school in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and that probably did not help me much, as I am an undergrad Sternie.)</p>
<p>Even parents might not matter that much... I remember someone on CC who was a double legacy (both parents went to ugrad Stern), and he got rejected.</p>
