Hey guys! I got accepted to University of Washington - Seattle with a 3.786 GPA (not sure if this is relevant). I am really exciting and happy to go, but there’s something I’ve been stressing about A LOT lately. I finished 1st semester of my senior year with something like a 3.1, bringing my 3.786 down to a 3.70 cumulative. I feel like with the way this semester is going (I’ve been distracted so much), there’s a chance I finish with the same GPA as last semester and potentially bring my 3.70 down more. The courses I’m taking this year are AP Calculus BC, AP Government and Politics, UW Composition and Literature (College in the High School), French 3-4, random CS course, and AP Physics 1.
The grades were:
AP Calculus BC: B-
AP Government: A
UW Composition: A-
French 3: B+
Comp Sci course: A
AP Physics 1: D+
You can clearly see where my GPA took a hit. Physics was horrible and will forever be horrible, but I would like to know if these grades are bad enough for UW to rescind my application. I don’t know if the fact that my schedule was relatively rigorous will do anything for me, but let me know. Thank you!
Edit: Forgot to add, yeah I’ve been hit HARD with senioritis…
