Question regarding Calpoly Pomona.

I am planning to transfer from a Community College to Calpoly Pomona as Animal Science:pre-vet. I thought of UC Davis but I have too many problems about it mainly because of distance. I just have a few questions...

Do I have to finish ALL the classes listed on Assist.org in order to transfer to Calpoly? Or may I just finish most of them?

Is there a unit limit? For example, Some Universities will automatic reject you if you have 90 units or more. What happens if I apply to Calpoly with 90 units or more? Will it affect my chance of getting admitted?

The 90 units or more thing only applies if you’re transferring from another UC or CSU, but I heard they’re doing away with that. If you’re transferring from a community college, then it doesn’t matter how many units you accumulate.

You don’t have to finish all the classes listed on Assist.org, especially if there are no equivalents for them offered at your community college. However, it’s best to clear as much of your science courses out as soon as possible, because there may be upper division courses that require completion of those science courses.
