So this past summer I got "kicked out" of my summer program, and I'm not sure if this constitutes as an "educational institution". On one hand I payed tuition to attend, broke rules, and got kicked out, but on the other hand the college does not necessarily need to know that I attended this program. Another thing that makes this a sticky situation is this program I got kicked out of provided me an internship with something totally separate (meaning another company) from the program itself. I have a recommendation from the people I interned for and am ready to send it in with my application. I basically don't want to be untruthful, but I also don't want to add anything (like a stupid mistake O made the summer of my JR year) unnecessary to my application that would hinder me getting into the college/university of my choice.
