question regarding max unit cap for uc schools

I attended Carrington College(private college and took 90 quarter units which i believe are non-transferable ) before I started community college. I am currently majoring in computer enginerring and by the time i get done i would have 120+ semester units from the CCC. Would the U.C. max unit cap apply to me? Only information I could found from UC webiste is the unit cap applies if you attended a four year institute prior to community college. Since Carrington college is not a four a year college would the unit cap apply to me? Along with that since all the courses I took at carrington college are non-transfrable( i am assuming) would those take any part in my admission decision? Thank you very much for your help and time.

This is what the UCs said:

I would find out what type of accreditation Carrington College has, if it is nationally accredited than most likely a lot of your units will not transfer, if it is regionally accredited then some of the credits may transfer and you’ll want to make sure you do not go over 90 units.
What I was told by UCSD and the transfer center reps at my CCC is that classes most likely to transfer are your general ed classes like Psych 101 or if the description matches a course in the UC catalogue then it could transfer over.

@AskMsSon thank you very much for the helpful information. So the max unit cap apply if you attended a four year college prior to community college. I tried searching online but couldn’t find out if Carrington College is considered a four year institute? I am assuming since its a college not a university its a two year school. I received a A.S. degree from Carrington College and that was the highest degree they had.

@USN_Transfer thanks for your help. I found out from wikipedia that Carrington College is accredited by the " Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)"

Carrington College is accredited by the following:
Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges Accredited * 07/01/2001 -

source: [U.S</a>. Department of Education Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs](DAPIP)

@AskMsSon so since the unit cap applies if you attened a four year college prior to community college and carrington college is credited as junior college thus the unit cap wont apply to me?

The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC)
Public and private postsecondary institutions that offer two-year education programs and award the associate degree.

You should be fine then, it would be the equivalent of attending a private junior college.
