can i take a summer class this summer at my CCC before fall?
im taking health this summer, but its only for my AA degree (has nothing to do with UCs) but i still put it on my academic update that it is a planned course for summer of 2013.

Well, whatever classes you take have to be reported.
But, don’t worry.
You can change the planned coursework on the academic update anytime, I think.

From the UC Transfer Academic Update “Questions” section:
Q: What if I list a course as planned and I end up not taking it?
A: Once you’ve submitted the Transfer Academic Update, you may log back in and make necessary changes.

You should be fine either way. They’re not really going to put too much consideration, if any, into what you mark down for summer because it’s fairly far away and there are a lot of factors that can affect whether or not you actually take the class. And they do understand that some people decide to take extra courses in the summer before they transfer. I think you made the more reasonable choice by putting it down on the UC app, but I don’t think you would have had any problem if you informed them in May or June that you were going to take one more class in summer.
