Hello

I was accepted to USC as a spring admit.
When I was applying to USC, for Pre-professional emphasis I put Pre-Medicine however, when I received the acceptance letter it stated that I do not have Pre-professional emphasis. What does this exactly mean?

Also on my financial aid page, I see that my tuition is only half, does this mean that I only learn second semester work?

Pre-whatever doesn’t mean anything. If you want to apply to med school, you simply need to take the pre-requisite classes regardless of your major, there is no Pre-Med major.

For the 2014-15 school year, you will not be attending Fall Semester, so the FA is only for the Spring 15 semester. Therefore half.

^ Not quite. I’ve been through this. Tuition is half - financial aid is not, at least with regard to university grants. Spring admits assume their academic year grant will be doubled for two semesters. Unless USC has changed the way it handles spring admit financial aid in the past 2 years, it is not.
