I submitted my common app and my supplment to the common app.

How will I check decisions for RD? I've gotten no emails at all, and I thought they email you stuff to make an account?

How will I check decisions for RD? I've gotten no emails at all, and I thought they email you stuff to make an account?

they will send you an email with info regarding how to activate your “Eli account”. personally, i haven’t gotten an email from them yet even though i sent my app a week+ ago…

^ ok thx, is this the same with other ivies like harvard, darmouth, columbia? they havent sent anything either and i submitted all my stuff. (I also sent in my paper stuff (transcripts etc.) yesterday and am now afraid its gonna get lost since they havent updated anything apparently.

Think H emails you, not sure about the rest

^ I know they do, but why havent they emailed me yet? It’s been about 3-4 days since I submitted my App.

Uchicago emailed with the account information the next day?

No, I mean I think that H emails you with your decision… You don’t have an eli account equivalent if I remember correctly. Certainly last year the decision was emailed

harvard emailed me and gave me an account to check the status of my app. it was around a week after i sent my stuff in.

Harvard emails you the decision. All other Ivies (the only one I can’t be sure of is UPenn since I didn’t apply) email you a login name and password that you will be able to access on April 1st to view your admission decision. Cornell sent my login information on December 1st, Harvard did as well. Dartmouth sent their login info December 8th. Georgetown on the 10th, NYU on the 14th, Princeton on the 18th, Stanford on Jan. 8th, etc. I can’t remember the exact date, but I think I submitted my common app by December, and all of my supplements by the regular RD deadline. Given the holidays, you should probably get all of your login information by the end of January or beginning of February.

And don’t worry, it just takes a while. If you’re still uneasy, you can always give the admissions office a call to see if they’ve received everything. I know I did that with a couple of schools that were slow to update.

It can take a few weeks for your Eli Account info to get to you. I think Yale’s website says something about how you should receive an email with your Eli Account info within three weeks?
