Question

ok i go to an average highschool and im not like crazy smart tons of ap's like a lot of you. Now I'm wondering if this schedule will be to much for me...

Ap US History
Ap government
Health
Honors english 11
Honors algebra 2
Spanish 4

I'm being told by my teachers to drop ushistory and take it senior. Should i do that and if i do what can i take instead of it. I have a 3.8 right now. Thanks!!!!!

I wouldn't drop it if I were you. I'm more of a math/science girl but took AP US history this year and haven't found it too bad. I think you'd be surprised how much you really know about AP US and AP Gov. just by living in the US and reading the newspaper, watching the news, etc. a little bit. Also, I know that AP US is almost all juniors at my school and if you decide to take it senior year instead it might be hard to be in a class full of juniors your senior year.

Maybe try that schedule for the first two weeks, look at the syllabus, and decide if it's going to be too much work. Junior year is supposed to be challenging, but at the same time it's only high school. If it seems like you're going to be really stressed out all year then go ahead, drop it, and enjoy your junior year.

Make sure you take at least three years of science.

its different at my school...its a mostly senior class. And your right my junior year should be the hardest. But i have xc, academic games, earth smart, interact and track as my ec's......will that not give me time to study?

take science or more math in place of that espanol class

This could be different at your school, but for every school that I've been to and for all the schools that my friends attend, Gov is taken your senior year. So if I were going to save one of the two histories for next year, I'd save gov.

Yeah, if I were you I'd add in a science. Doesn't have to be AP but maybe honors chem or physics?

opps sry i had chem...i forgot to put it
health and ap gov are one semester so i was planning on putting chem
