<p>im going to be a junior and im aiming for top-tier schools and ivy schools. in my junior year, both AP english and honors english are offered. AP english has a 10 point weight and honors english has a 5 point weight. but its a lot easier to get a 98 in an honors class (overall would be 103) than to get a 90 in an AP class (overall grade would be 100).</p>

<p>AP, if your goal is an Ivy league type school.</p>
