question

Yea my friend wanted to know if having a D in Ap art history would affect his admission already? like will he get revoke because of it? thanks

Your friend is kind of screwed, because a D is not really a passing grade. When he applied he filled out what classes he was taking and going to take. If AP art history was on there he has to make sure he passes, or they can defer you. I know people who got into UF and got a D there last semester of high school and UF was like you can't come here with this grade.

Art history isn't calculus though.

well it is the final grade that will be put on the transcript and calculated into the gpa. tell him to work harder, his second semester-fourth quarter should average in with his first semester grade to compute a final grade. so dont stress it now, just work harder.

Lol. "My friend."

Some schools do not have a final grade. In Seminole County, they get a 1st Semester grade and 2nd Semester grade and that's it. So a semester grade of D would definitely show in that case.
