Questions about History 3A

Anyone take this class? I'm an incoming freshman Bioengineer major and I just enrolled for my fall quarter this morning. In addition to Math 31B, Chem20A, and BioE10, I had to take a GE.

I narrowed it down to 2 GE's that were semi-interesting to, would fit well into my schedule, actually satisfied a GE requirement for engineering, and was available this quarter. It was History 3A (History of Science: Scientific Revolution) with Terrell or English 85 (American Novel) with Mott. From what I've heard, Mott's a great professor while Terrell is boring and both are about the same when it comes to difficulty.

I ended up picking History 3A because I think the subject matter would be much more interesting to me and I don't know if I'd be able to handle reading so many novels.

Just wondering if anyone has some insight into this class and whether or not I made a good choice.
