I'm a senior in high school, and I just applied to NYU. This is my top choice, but I'm keeping a realistic approach on the subject. My high school career was less than spectacular. I missed a lot of school due to exterior issues, and failed a lot of classes in the process. This was my freshman and sophomore years. Since then I have worked my way back, and have been earning straight A's for the past two years. I took my SAT's and received a 1530 score, low on the math side, and still just average. Of course, my point. What are my chances. Do I even have a chance? If you don't think so, what are some other viable alternatives, preferably in an urban setting?
