Questions about Pharmacy

Hi everyone

What should I do if I want a PhD in pharmacology after finishing 2 years of pre-pharm program? I mean, do I need a 2yr program in order to major in pharmacology? or should I do undergrad study in pharmacology then go to grad school for PhD?

I think it's necessary to have a BA before going for a PhD in any discipline. I don't know of any 2 year programs...perhaps you're referring to PharmD prerequisite completion?

You need a minimum of a bachelors degree in one of the sciences or in pharmacy (where you now have to get a PharmD). It would be intereting to know how many are accepted to the PhD programs with a science BS vs a PharmD degree.
