Can anyone type up the list of items to bring?

and has anyone received the plane tickets yet?

Can anyone type up the list of items to bring?

Here you go:

-casual clothing
-alarm clock
-pillow
-shower shoes
-sleeping bag
-towels and toiletries
-umbrella
-money for personal expenses (food, shopping, etc.)

And ya, does anyone know when we're supposed to get the plane tickets and rooming info?

My d is doing the art weekend now. The e-tickets were emailed to her. She didn't get the rooming info until she arrived there. Have you spoken with the WashU travel agent ?

I am STOKED for MC weekend. Can't wait to meet you all :).

fremont, thanks for the list! :D

Another question, are shower shoes really necessary?

I don't think so... you might want to bring them if communal bathrooms gross you out.

I would say that it is better to be safe than to be sorry

TWO MORE DAYS!

Shower shoes ARE NECESSARY, especially if you happen to be assigned to a traditional dorm. Communal bathrooms are not a good place to shower bare feet.

It says my host stays in Danforth....isn't that the main campus? how am I supposed to know what actual BUILDING she stays in?
She has a chem lab until 5 & I get to campus at 1-ish so I have to get there on my own...

All the dorms are located on the south 40. Danforth is one of those dorms but also lends its name to the main campus. Here is a map of the south 40 that will show you the location: http://tour.wustl.edu/south-40-map-2004-11-30.pdf

LizziePoo

most likely you will be able to go eat, watch TV and talk to ppl in Mudd, etc...
but there should be plenty of people waiting with the varied flight times and hosts having classes

there may even be events already scheduled
eventually you'll hook up with your host so you can take your stuff to the dorms but don't worry if your host is late

my host had a lab the day I arrived in the fall but things went great

Hey, just in case anyone's wondering, I called that Gwin's Travel place today and it turns out that they are having troubles with people who use gmail. So if you haven't gotten your plane tickets yet and you use gmail, that's probably why.
But yea, definitely try to call them and sort it out

I'm a local and I'll be there at 9AM sharp so I don't have to go to school ;/

Does anyone know if official events are scheduled for Thursday?

Thanks guys. Does anyone know if Danforth is a new or old building?

i got an email from gwins saying "travel itinerary" like on around march 25. this is the only email ive received from them, it basically says the times my plane leaves and stuff. is there something else i should be getting (like e-tickets. wait. what are e-tickets)??
sorry if this is a dumb question but i rarely, if ever, travel.

if the itinerary thing is the correct thing we need, do we print it out?

thanks so much

Danforth's new.

Not that new. It's been around since my freshman year, which was 2004-2005. It was probably around a few years before that too.

Anyways, someone said it before. Danforth is a dorm on the South 40 and also the name of our main academic campus - Danforth Campus.

Can you guess who donated lots of resources to Washington University?

molliemeow, i only got that same email. you should print it out because it has a ticket number on it, which is, I'm assuming, what you will use to check in at the airport.

My flight for tomorrow was canceled because of issues with American Airlines. Does anyone know when the rescheduled flights will be confirmed?

I would really prefer to be in St. Louis by tomorrow... I don't want to go to school.

my flight was cancelled too...so I called gwins and now i dont get into st. louis until 7 tomorrow night.
Anyone else get a flight cancelled?--im from colorado..
