Hi, recently I've become interested in applying to USC. I hope someone can answer a few of my questions.

1) Does USC cap off the number of semesters of weighted points like the UCs?
2) Does USC look at freshmen year GPA, or is it only sophomore and junior year?
3) How many SAT IIs will USC take a look at? Will it help your chances if you do extemely well on the SAT IIs?
4) Does your reported SAT I score have to be from a single sitting, or can it be separate?

Thanks a lot to anyone that can help me!

I'm not 100% sure about 1 or 2, but I don't think they cap the weight of honors classes and they will look at all grades on your transcript.

SAT II's are highly recommended and anything extra will always help in making a final decision.
USC will take the highest combined SAT (but I don't think you can combine the old SAT with the new SAT)

no, dunno, yes, separate (that's why you can't compare 'SC's SAT scores with the UC's)

1) No
2) Freshman is included... (Im 99% sure...never heard anything different)
3) As many as you send them, Im not sure how many they require... My SAT IIs helped me get a scholarship... so yes, they are helpful...
4) You can mix sittings...

Good luck and FO!

Would the GPA include physical education/sports and would the GPA be rounded to the nearest tenth, hundredth, or thousandths place?

No... GPA does not include PE/Sports (you get grades for sports?)... And it doesnt matter how far you round it... Just round it to whatever place makes you look the smartest...

Yeah, my school gets grades for sports, but it's not included in GPA computation. OK, just to make sure, freshman year counts and PE/sports is not included. Thanks.
