If anybody has any questions about the campus(ex. where to eat, how to transport around campus, gym), I'll be happy to answer them.

have you used the tunnel under urey hall to get between center and NSB/pac hall? :)

wow, now that’s a question i didn’t expect. lol. um, no i haven’t, but i’ve heard that there are various tunnels around UCSD where people go and explore. it’s quite possible there might be one underneath urey hall since it’s by revelle, which is the oldest college.

is there one by the medical center?
i think there’s a facebook group on this.

not too sure about the medical center, but here’s a link of the tunnels: [UCSD’s Tunnels](http://tunnels.tripod.com/ucsdtunn.html)

yay!

the existence of the tunnels aren’t disputed – they’re certainly there and occasionally a res hall will sponsor some kind of contest in which the winners will get an escorted tour of the tunnels. most of these are locked off and occasionally some students will try and pry their way in.

but the tunnel i’m referring to is perfectly legal and goes through the basement of urey hall. the entrance is right behind the staircase between bonner (occasionally boner) and mayer halls. try it sometime – it saves you from having to climb the stairs and fight your way through crowds at passing time. plus, it’s great when it rains – a whole pack of us used to make the center-NSB commute using that :)

nice, very nice. I’ll check that out this year. Anyone else have any other questions? =)

Hey im planning on getting a debit card soon and I was wondering if the atm machines on campus charge you if you want to withdraw cash. Oh, and also does everyone use the “triton cash” thing? Thanks =]

1) The ATM’s on campus do not charge you for using debit card’s. There are 6 ATM’s located near Price Center, and I know for sure Wells Fargo and Bank of America are there not too sure about the others. There is also another Wells Fargo ATM at the Old Student Center along the border between Muir and Revelle.

2) As for Triton Cash, not everyone has it, and its not super useful, seeing as how I didn’t have one but I really didn’t have a need to use it. But I will tell that I lived in Tioga Hall in Muir my first year and the laundry machines broke quite often, in the sense that it would stop accepting quarters, which got annoying. I would recommend getting Triton Cash solely for laundry purposes, plus it could prove useful for other things if need be.

thank you for all your responses : )

yeah i agree with Richzz89. Use it only for laundry purposes. Other than that, it’s not really that useful, unless you wish to use it to store money and use it for eating at price center. By the way, all of these are great responses! Keep them up! Any other questions?

Hey, I’ll be taking the Spanish Language Proficiency Exam in September. I was wondering what the test is like? Is it hard? Multiple Choice?
