Questions for Intl. student

I am an international student from Taiwan, and therefore, I have come across a few problems applying to American Universities.
1. I have noticed that almost every university/college lists ''rigor of secondary school report'' as very important. However, in Taiwan, high school students don't get to choose the courses they take, all of them are mandatory and are the same. We basically study every category there is, including Chinese, English, math, physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, social studies, computer science, domestic science and lots more. How Should I solve this problem?
2. In Taiwan, high school is from grade 10 to 12, so when calculating cumulative GPA, do I need to go back to my former school and apply for a grade 9 school report?

Thank you for your help!

You should start by reading through everything at https://www.educationusa.info/</a>
Then get in touch with the counselors at the advising center that is closest to you: https://www.educationusa.info/Taiwan</a> If you cannot visit in person, find out how much help they can give you by email or telephone. They will be able to help you find the answers to all of your questions.

You also should check the International Students Forum here. You don’t have to do this on your own.

Just list the course you’re taking and try to have your counselor mention/explain your school’s circumstance.

I would use the grades from 10~12th grade for GPA, and see if you can send both transcripts just for reference.
