SAT Blue book, pg. 551, question no.11 / can anyone explain to me?

Well, the reason why I mentioned the page and question number is because it is a reading comprehension so I can’t copy all the paragraphs here.
Can anyone help me with this if you have a SAT practice book published by the College Board?

@chbabe If we read the lines 30-34 ( I liked to look at Africa with the coded colors of the different countries like Belgian Congo and Rhodesia, and try to remember which countries were fighting to be free JUST AS WE WERE STRUGGLING FOR CIVIL RIGHTS.) question 11 is asking us that "For the author , to look at Africa on the globe served a reminder of … The best answer is A because from the lines the author talks about how the Americans are struggling for civil rights just as African countries are fighting to be free!!..I HATE CRITICAL READING!!! SOO PISSED I HAVE TO TAKE THE TEST AGAIN IN OCTOBER! F*CKKK!!!

HAHAHA that is so true! I hate critical reading so much, it is killing me all day. Good luck with your test though!

@DonMilton the easiest way to improve your SAT CR score is to have a positive attitude about it and to not get frustrated when your get questions wrong.

Whenever i finish a practice CR test, i go to each wrong question and explain in a big paragraph why each of the answer choices are wrong and why the right one is correct. its extremely time consuming, but is SUPER helpful. I can now easily identify trap answers.

Don’t be pissed at having to take the sat again in october! I’m entering freshman year of college in the fall and aiming to transfer to brown and i know a 2000 aint gonna make the transfer cut so I’m taking it in october too! i view the SAT as a game so i actually have a lot of fun taking tests because for me its to see how many tricks can i spot and avoid

@AmericanPride thanks for the tips bro. I’ll try and have a positive attitude . I desperately need a 2000+ score in October .All the best on your test
