Questions..important questions

for those who go to duke:

is it possible to survive the following...keep in mind i am really interested in these majors...

economics and biomedical engineering w/ pre med focus...i also applied to the focus program...

is this a wise move? or should i just stick with biomedical engineering with pre-med focus and perhaps the focus program and a minor or nothing at all in economics.

My friend is doing biomed and economics, and he's planning to go to med school unless he gets a really enticing offer from a BB. He said that it was difficult, but manageable. However, he's a relatively smart guy, and he's pulling like a 3.6 (not sure if that's great or not)

A 3.6 in Pratt is pretty great. I've heard of Pratt kids getting into med schools with a 3.4.

BME is already hard if you do FOCUS. If you want to do Econ too I wouldn't do Focus so that you can start taking econ classes right away. Your first semester schedule would be:
Math
Chem
EGR 53
Econ 51/55

If you do FOCUS you can only take two of those classes and you'll get behind.
