Quick Advice please

Hey!
Ok these are my HS stats:
I didn't apply for any scholarships.
UW GPA: 3.5
ACT: 31 (equivalent to 2040 on SAT)
IB Diploma candidate

500+ hours of community service
IB Diploma Recipient ****
31 on my ACT which equals a 2040 on the SAT

I have a 4 page resume with a TON of extra curriculars and community service. I've also had 3 jobs and one internship.

College stats:
first semester freshman-taking 17 hours (at my school you aren't allowed to take more than that without written consent from the dean)
I go to UT Austin
I will have mostly A's, maybe 2 B's this semester.
I have a ton of EC's here too-2 jobs, an art class, piano and guitar lessons, horesback ridiing lessons (weren't originally on my resume).

so what do you think my changes are of getting into the communications departments (Public relations to be exact) (that's what I'm in at UT Austin) for Fall 2011 at:
NYU
USC
Chapman
Loyola Marymount
Pepperdine

Please help me! I really need some advice here. Thanks :)

ooh also:
I forgot to add--I was previously accepted into Chapman for fall (my freshman year so this year) with a $20,000 scholarship that i didn't apply for)
also, I previously applied and was rejected from NYU and USC but I applied to their business schools (foolishly)--now i'm switching to communications

also, do any of these schools (besides USC) have prereqs that have to be met for entering the comm school?!

thanks again!

I would say a middling chance at all of those schools, LMM and Chapman are probably a good chance, and maybe to USC.

Note that if you get into Chapman again, it may not offer you a scholarship since you are now a transfer student.

Remember if you don’t get in as a soph transfer, you can always try again as a junior transfer. Just keep up your GPA.

thanks  Yeah I feel like LMU and Chapman I have a fair shot at, the others might be reach. Though I know LMU, Chapman and Pepperdine are all religious and I have a TON of religious community service with leadership positions and such. Yeah I know I won’t get my Chapman scholarship back (probably) and that’s fine, I just figured that since they gave it to me the first time when i didn’t apply for it, that they’d probably let me just into the school again :)

any advice anyone else?
