So a 100 in a standard course gives you a 4.0
A 100 in an AP course gives you a 5.0

What does a 100 in a honors course give you??

Depends on the HS.

at my school
AP = 6
Honors = 6
Standard = 5

Alot of kids just take all honors with one or two AP’s to get a high class rank… which is kinda annoying lol :p

My school doesn’t tell class rank 8-|
Wait a minute, so if your school gives weighted GPAs over 5.0 and mine only gives weighted GPAs over 4.0 what do the colleges look at? Do they change them back?
@LetterPurple

Colleges will either look at unweighted GPA or will weight according to their own weighting system.

Probably their own system because my unweighted is different than letterpurples
@skieurope

@Spiral7 they compare your GPA within your school. It can’t be compared to other schools that use a different system. To do cross school comparison they’d have to use their own system.

Most weighted 4.0 gpa systems Ive seen (including my county) give honors a 4.5
