<p>You don't technically need a high school diploma to go to college guys... I hope you all realize that... You don't need to be a genius to do it either.</p>
<p>Most super selective (Ivy calibre) schools don’t require a diploma - but most others do. This is more for the reason that some school districts have stupid graduation requirements that might trip up bright, high achieving students who are obvious choices for admission. On the other hand, the average college bound student would do well to graduate HS, and is substantially more pedestrian.</p>
<p>Based on the several 15 and 16 year olds getting straight As in college, I’m going with no.</p>
