This is going to sound really silly but, did you guys find yourself drawing a lot of diagrams in your classes?

I'm asking because I usually take my notes on a computer but, if its something with a lot of diagrams and numbers like math, I write it on paper. Which one should I choose? I don't want to walk into class with a notebook if I really don't need it. My bio book is big enough already.

I don’t know, I would come with a laptop computer and a paper for the diagrams. Type the notes and use diagrams on paper :). I have only done regular bio so I don’t know about AP…

You need to bring your text to class?

I can’t say for sure, as my AP bio class was self-taught (teacher didn’t teach, probably the best prep for college I got!), but if the teacher doesn’t hand out notes, you’ll likely want to draw out/recopy the diagrams for your own benefit. There’s a lot of cycles and pathways in some chapters, and you’ll want to make sure you know those thoroughly, and the teacher may add notes to them as well. I’d bring a notebook the first week or two in case (and leave the text at home!).

Thank you! I have the ability to write on my computer so if it’s nothing major I can switch in and out from typing and writing. From what I’ve heard the teacher I have first semester doesn’t really hand out notes. My normal teacher’s pregnant so she’ll be gone and then she’ll come back second semester. I hope she doesn’t switch it up too dramatically.
