Quick question about JHU!

I checked the JHU’s website for their new application for prospective 2006 freshman. The JHU application does not specify how long each essay should be. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do? Thanks

250-500 words

How do you know this?

I think the general rule for most college essays is around 500 words.

checks old essays

My $10 essay had 508 words, and my favorite course essay had 484 words.

Because that's what the essays at other universities ask for.

Ahh, okay thank you both for your input!

my $10 essay was 743 words. i think anywhere between 500 and 800 words would be fine. my favorite course one was 335 words. i think 250-400 words is good for this one.
