Presidential Scholarship $17,606 $17,606
University Grant $20,028 $20,028
Subsidized Federal Stafford Loan $1,140 $1,140
Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan $2,360 $2,360
Federal Work-Study $2,500 $2,500

Total Financial Aid $43,634

The difference between your estimated cost of attendance (shown below) and your total financial aid eligibility is $0.

=] I'm very pleased with my FA package..but I was wondering since I have a $2,500 private scholarship would that take place of my Federal Loans?

And also the NMF $2,500- it says you can only accept one..so if I took that money would my Presidential be taken away..or could I still use both? So confused!

I think for NMF, you can get both... the presidential (through USC) and whatever private merit award you get for being NMF. But call USC to confirm. When it comes to money, they're more than happy to answer questions (:

i think you can get both. and i;ve heard several times that if you dont get the 2500 from nmsc usc gives you another 1,000 on top of half tuition

Um, if they add it to your financial aid package, your total financial aid will not change, meaning they will most likely subtract the amount of the new scholarship from the university grant.

I just got my presidential notification and it says that on top of presidential, you can receive up to $2500 additional from USC sources and up to $6000 beyond the remaining cost of tuition from non-USC sources.
