<p>Does in school tutoring count for volunteer hours?</p>
<p>I tutor 6-7 girls 1-2x a week. So it's about 8 hours a week that goes into it. Will I be able to list this on my college application?? </p>

<p>College applications don’t ask about volunteer hours. On the Common App you’ll have space to list ten extracurriculars—they can involve volunteering, but they don’t have to. </p>
