D moved in for honors on Wednesday and so far is having a great time. The crew students were wonderful, organized, and helpful in directing cars and carrying stuff to the room. Lots of activities planned to keep them busy, and everyone we met and saw, parents, students and staff, were very nice. The grounds are beautiful and D reports that the food is awesome so far.

From start to finish we are very glad we/she chose Quinnipiac university so far.

CIG - Nice to hear about your child’s Great Start - would you care to share your D’s quals and experience in being identified as an Honors Program/School candidate? Our youngest is looking to pursue a Biz/Accounting Degree and is a current HS Senior.
Thanks!

Hi @alsdad13…Sure!

Act 29 Sat 1960. Lots of leadership, clubs and community service, shadowed doctors for nursing major, ended w 4.0 but had about 3.8 when applying if I remember. 5 AP classes total I believe, a couple college classes, writing awards.

I do believe they look holistically and also at interest. The honors program has been amazing so far…she met a lot of people there and has done some fun things. It helped her getacclimated quickly. She also met so many other really nice people as well. Everyone seems to get along. I am so pleased with everything Quinnipiac so far!!

Feel free to ask any more questions of they surface!
