Denu MZ - my R permit for the fall/spring semester was $743 dollars even.

Just kind of related to the discussion, through the summer there have been quite a few (maybe 15-20) car break ins within the garages. Just make sure you aren’t the target by taking out your GPS, change, etc, or at the very least putting it into your center console out of sight.

@Hookemhorns, I’ve looked at that site weeks ago and its not clear as to explain whether I can park in “all” garages, how long I can stay, what side roads I can park on, etc. I rather get a more direct answer from someone who has been through it. Ticket sales for S is 8/10. I’m going to go with Dobie’s garage.

The webpage related to S permits is very clear that you can only park in the garage that your permit is issued. You cannot just get the permit and go park in any garage or street that you choose. It also states you cannot keep it there more than 72 hours, and they want notification when it will be parked overnight.

I agree with your decision to choose Dobie, because it’ll be close to you in the mornings/evenings, and it’s not a horrible walk from where the Brazos Garage would be if you would have choose to park there (although not feasible).

Thanks WTK, I never saw that part of the site.

OMG, I would come back home one day before the deadline. my parents aren’t even home and i can’t contact them by phone so i don’t have their credit card information. uggghhh ■■■

can you charge it to the “what I owe” page and pay it that way, does that give you more time?

I bet you could do that. I had to use a Discover card to pay for mine, and right after I specified that I wanted to charge it to the “What I Owe” page (before I even paid) I got an email from Parking confirming my purchase.
