<p>What is the random selection draw?</p>
<p>The site says you can buy a permit as early as when you've been assigned your dorm by Housing in July. Is it first come, first serve so get it in early?</p>
<p>When will the new prices be posted?</p>
<p>If they do the parking assignments like they did last year, they actually have a series of draws. It is kind of weird, but you go on the parking website where you found that info. You register for your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices of garages when the permit info for next year is posted. You will get an e-mail saying you are being offered a contract and which garage, and you have 10 days or so to go online and pay for it. I think this year the annual cost was $725 or so. Some garages, I think the ones east of Speedway are affected by athletic events and your car has to be moved. They do assign you another garage to park in during those times. If you don’t get an offer, or don’t want that garage, you can turn it down and register for the next draw.</p>
