I really want to be all and done with the interview with MIT, but I feel uneasy about scheduling it now. Is it too early?
You should only schedule once you know who your MIT representative giving the interview is.

Yeah, it was weird because I registered days before the 2016 app went live and suddenly the interview info appeared. I know the name, email, and phone number, but I am not knowing what to expect or even how to prepare.

You can absolutely schedule your interview now. I have had a couple of requests already. However, I would not recommend interviewing if you still are beginning your investigation of MIT. I have been asked if MIT offered an accounting major. If you haven’t really looked at the MIT website yet, then your interview is too early. Otherwise, now is fine.
