(actually I have heard of Idlewild because of their contemporaries/influences but that’s beside the point)

There was a question about Thom Yorke and Sigur Ros on the Sat PSAT.

So yeah.

^ haha awesome

You would be the first person to say they’ve heard even their name before. I get weird looks when people ask to whom I’m listening

The only song I like by Radiohead is Creep. If a person doesn’t like Radiohead so what. That doesn’t mean they lack taste in music. I’m one of the few people who like music just for music’s sake. I love Lady GaGa and Britney Spears, but I love Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. Does that mean I lack taste in music no. It means I just love music.

Really? I thought everyone knew who they were.

I don’t really care about them… but I know that the majority of kids at my school know/listen to their music. We’ve talked about it in some of my classes before.

And besides… Didn’t they like totally offend Miley Cyrus?

I lol’ed at this thread…clicked it hoping for a serious discussion. They’re one of my favorite bands (not just their singles…I mean everything). LP8 comes out next year~
About their popularity…a lot of people have heard of them. There’s several different categories, actually…there are people who know them for ‘Creep’, and then people who’ve heard of their In Rainbows-for-free publicity stunt, etc…and two of their members appeared in a Harry Potter movie.
edit - and the Miley thing.

If you’re serious, this makes me hate the ETS a little bit less.

^ It was find the error in the sentence I think and it was like

“Because of their nonsensical lyrics and instruments, Sigur Ros was contacted by Thom Yorke to tour” or something like that. I took the Wednesday one but my friend took the Sat one and he was like, “HOLY CRAP”. It might be correct the sentence or something, I dunno.

Who? I’ve never heard of them.

You do it to yourselfffffffffff, you dooooooooo, and that’s what really hurts!

Radiohead is a pretty good band. Not my favorite, but I can’t deny their talent.

However, to say that Radiohead isn’t popular is completely absurd. They are just not huge throughout the United States; in the U.K. and other places, they are much more popular.

Are you such a dreamer to put the world to rights?
<3

I like Radiohead. They are chill. I wouldn’t listen to them hanging out, but i have them on some of my playlists. I like High and Dry more than Fake Plastic Trees, but they have other good songs to.

Three good songs by Radiohead:

-“Creep” the only song most people know by them, but still freakin’ fantastic
-“Karma Police” it’s like an eargasm when I’m in the right mood
-“There there” I just like the music video because it creeps me the f**k out.

Haha SLightManifesto, I love that band.

Yeah Streetlight covered Just by Radiohead but I like the Radiohead version more. Gotta love that guitar riff at the end of each line in the verses.
