K so right now I'm at a CC with a 3.8 gpa (after two years of majoring in music n not giving a ****), since then I've came back to school for accounting and I've been getting a 4.0. I already applied to LSA and am awaiting a response... I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to get in considering that they were waiting for my last semesters grades (4.0), I'm in the honors program, member of phi theta kappa, hold a position with a student group, and am raising a son at the same time.

Because I'm awaiting response and fairly confident that I'll get in, I wanted to take this semester easy so I could try to find a job and work full time while not hurting my grades. I was planning on taking these

Pre-Calculus (have to take because I'm gonna take calculus one if I get in)
College Writing and Research (2 out of 2) (retaking because I got a B- when I half assed it in school and would like to freshen up my writing skills)
Weight Training (dropped it and am considering retaking it)

My question: should I just drop college writing and the weights class and maybe just retake them if I get into LSA to bring my gpa up (to get into Ross)? This seems like it makes sense to me but I know there are some rules or ways that schools look at different things so I thought I would ask for some help here.

Thanks in advance everybody. Hopefully I'll see you there...
