there was a third wave? nice. can't wait till the fourth lol

I thought the first wave was any acceptances in January and the second wave was pretty much anything after that to this date? I dunno, guess its not really important though at this point.

True. All Trustee/Presidential scholarships are over, right?

Supposedly although I'm curious as to why I haven't received a letter saying I didn't receive any scholarships yet.

I just received my letter today :(

Yeah I take that back. I was at school when I made that last post.

I just got home and got it. Rather depressing stuff. I haven't been accepted anywhere yet so I can't say I'm going to college yet lol.

vienna and forgottenhawk, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm also dreading that letter...If you don't mind me asking, did your statuses change to reflect your letter or are they still stuck on prelim. review/being reviewed?

Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don't receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.

I've been in this so-called final stage (at least from what I understand from reading these threads) for over a week now. I was in preliminary review for about a month (1/3-2/6).

So the answer to your question is no, it remained the same.

I just got the letter today. I checked my status online and it still has me in preliminary review asking me for my mid-year report, which I sent in quite some time ago online.

My status is like forgottenhawk's, and it's been that way since 1/29/08. And from what QuixoticRick has posted, it seems like you can be at both preliminary and currently reviewing to receive that letter.

i recieved my letter, they said that i didnt get the scholarship and that if i havnt yet done so, i should submitt my mid-year grades. It says nothing about mid-year reports on my status page, so does that mean i dont have to send in grades.... i really dont want to!!

Since the letter says that you should send in your midyear grades if you haven't yet, then I suggest you do that. It shows that USC expects to see the grades, and I don't think you'd be doing yourself any favors if you don't send them in.
