I took the May SAT and received a score of 1900 with 610 Writing (got a lousy 8 on my essay) 630 Math and 630 CR. While I did not sufficiently study for this exam and I was at the time pleased with my score, I would like to raise my score to at least a 2100. I want to break the 2000 mark, my dream score would be a 2200.
I do not have a set list of the colleges I would like to attend, but I would like my score to be sufficient for an excellent school (maybe even an Ivy).
Any advice? What is the best way to prepare myself? Also, is this too unrealistic of a goal? I am taking the October SAT by the way.
Thank you :)

I am in the same boat as you. (same score 1920 and going to retake at the same date in October and expecting a 2200 score)

the three main factors that will tell you if your expectations are realistic:
1.) How much studying did you do for your first SAT
-the less you did the higher you can increase your score
2.) How much you plan to study over the summer
-practice SAT tests and questions and you definitely need to get the collegeboard study guide book second edition
3.) How high your IQ is
-If you retain information like a sponge you will get maximum benefits if not then you will need to study longer or more efficiently

If you study for a half hour a day over the summer and do one practice test from the blue book a week and use the youtube videos on waystoimprove’s channel then I think you should expect around 2100-2200 as a safe estimate

Thank you so much! I actually did not study a lot, I did take review classes but they were mediocre. I did no extra studying for this test. I plan on studying quite a lot over the summer to ensure a high score. Thanks again, I appreciate your help! Best of luck to you in your studies :)
