You can get used (but in VERY good condition) CD players from Ebay auctions under like five dollars each-- that's including the accompanying headphones, too. You can get used or even new CDs from Ebay from under five dollars each as well.

It's the I-Pods that are a pain to get. New they're all over at least 100 dollars. The nicest Pod model breaks the bank at 300-400. Even heavily used Pods on Ebay go for-- on average-- eighty bucks.

CREATIVE ZEN EXTRA! WOOO

I dont have an Ipod either. I also have a creative zen 40 gig. i love my baby. she was cheap too; only 185 bucks or so. woohoo and thanks to my dad, the wonderful cheap shopper and deal finder.

pshhhhhhhhhh i got an iPod back in THE DAY (i'm talking 2'nd generation iPod - the model where if you got a 5 gig, it didnt come with the touch sensetive wheel. ye, i got my iPod b4 all the hype and all that. because i've always known what everyone should. apple is an amazing company that does amazing things and everyone should own a mac!!!! <<< ya thats kinda random and off topic

I have an ipod mini. I find it aesthetically pleasing. Now you may be wondering, why does this kid care what it his music player looks like when he listens to it? Well, I admit that I feel better holding my nice shiny ipod listening to my music, thumbing the click wheel. I don't know why, and I don't really care, because its something I enjoy.

I don't have or want one. There's this really awesome and much better/affordable MP3 player on the k-mart website that I want to get my hands on.

I have a cheaper rio nitrus from a few years ago that holds all the songs I need. Just because it's possible in this day and age to carry every song in your collection with you, doesn't mean you should do it. If I only listen to three songs on a CD, only those 3 songs go on my player, which is why the smaller capacity is working for me thus far.

I'll probably get an iPod next year though, because I plan on getting an iBook for college.

i also had the old school ipod haha. i got it about four years ago and was liek the second kid in my grade with it. i loved it, we had great times, and then i got rid of it and got a mini because its cuter and pink and also bc i switched from pc to mac so i needed a new ipod anyway. minis suck. they malfunction like right away. all my friends that have minis have something wrong with it. mine was weird too, but then i broke it this summer. it was my own fault; i threw it on the floor. haha, so now i have no ipod. cd players suck balls. i hate listening to the same things over and over and not being able to download new stuff. i think im getting the nano soon, just because living without an ipod (especially on the subway) is just awful. ahh. :)
