I don't remember a ranking by tuition but I do remember a discussion about do you worry if it's too low?
But, if it's here, I'm sure someone will post it for you.
Also, you need to remember that some schools include all the fees in with the tuition others don't, so there could appear to be about a $2500 difference (what the fees genearally tend to be) that isn't really there.
We found that the schools we visited (12 - and a mix of "top" and not) were all within a couple of thousand of each other.

We found the same thing as well. We basically figured $40K for each school in New England.

The link from Boardingschoolreview.com is not that useful, as they only list "> $35,000" as the top category. And, as Linda pointed out, fees may or may not be included.

Boarding Schools with the Least Expensive Tuition - All Schools

There have been 2 threads on this in the last few months:

Three comments:

Tuition fees on boardingschoolreview are not the most reliable because many are not up-to-date.

Extra fees are important to include as well. It sounds like some schools have fees that can add up.

It appears that there are regional differences in fees & tuition.

Thanks, Dyer' BSR list is what I was looking for. I had asked a school why they were so expensive and they did not think they were. However, apparently one problem with BSR is that the data from one school may be 2007 and from another school 2005.

I think your prices are outdated. We found NMH and even Hill was a few thousand more than Deerfield and the D. price includes laptop and health services.

You're right....NMH was 39,300 last year, not including fees. It's scheduled to be up a couple thousand for 2008.

Some schools like Groton include fees that make it $42,040.

yes, the NMH tuition is about 41,000 for 2008

kent is $42,000+ this year

this yeat,
