Rank Ivy Leagues in Order of Prestige

In my opinion:
1. Harvard
2. Princeton
3. Yale
4. Pennsylvania
5. Columbia
6. Dartmouth
7. Brown
8. Cornell

lol........

completely disagree......

havard

princeton

Yale

Columiba

Dartmouth

Cornell

Penn

Brtown

Brown has very little respect in the ivy leagues

how many times has this been done?

useless thread.....

Weird...here's mine.

Princeton

Yale

Harvard

MIT (yes, I know it's not Ivy

Pennsylvania

Columbia

Dartmouth

Brown

Cornell

Your top 3 are the same as mine, how is that complete disagreement?

You know what sr6622, you can leave. That was a useless post!

oh you CC n00bs.....

What the hell's the difference?
They're all ivies and are the BEST universties in the world, so how can you measure minute discrepencies amongst their academic quality or prestige?

andrw313, i agree with ss6622, this is a useless thread. Lets not forget this is the "What are my chances?" forum. I declare this post dead haha. ok no one else post here please.

bwahahaha posts
and sr66, i resent being called a noob. we're all noobs on CC -- "OMG OMG cna u give me teh secret haxx 4 teh college so i dno't have 2 wrok!!11eleven"

Brown is awesome. Why does it have "little respect"? Proof?

klp141, Brown has relatively little respect compared to other ivies.

H

Y

P

Columbia

Pennsylvania

Brown

Dartmouth

Cornell

Yeah Brown being below the others is bogus. The truth is HYP is a slight advantage over CDBP, and CDBP is a slight advantage over Cornell for liberal arts.

In no particular order within a grouping:

Harvard
Yale
Princeton

Columbia
Dartmouth
Penn
Brown

Cornell (except in sciences/ engineering is in higher category)

It probably depends on where you are in the country as well. In some places Princeton is more well regarded than Yale, and in others Yale is thought to be more prestigious than Princeton. Its all relative, and quite a silly question. I will say, though, that Harvard is seen as the most prestigious to the majority of Americans.

H
Y
P
Dartmouth
Penn
Columbia
Brown
Cornell

idk tho lol

^ agree with above

but then again.. it really depends what your looking for as far as a major

You really cant go wrong with ANY ivy, so if you get in anywhere.. great job!

Brown
Columbia
Cornell
Dartmouth
Harvard
Penn
Princeton
Yale

Probably something like that.

This all begs the greater question...why do you care?
